A dangerous four letter

As we age, we live through different phases of life. The surging hormones change our physique and mind but there is nothing worse than the four letter words that spins oneself out of control. It transports oneself to an oasis in a desert. The world around oneself is transformed into lovely place. One's ears are blocked but it repeats those sweet voice again and again. It changes one's personality, behaviour and demeanour. One is transformed to be less rude, gentler and more helpful than before.

It fills in those empty, lonely, emotionless veins of heart and start to give meaning to beating life. It gives purpose and dimension to life. Nothing bothers oneself any longer, one becomes tolerable to put out any nuisance. This world is empty without this wondrous feel, I call it love like the following short scribblings.

"Like the stranded boats in the river, I wait stranded in my life until love came. Love showed me beauty, care, empathy,  intelligence, courage, literally " everything " and finally the purpose of life. This four letter little poisonous word transcends the borders of religion, creed, caste, nationality, race, language, age, cultural differences and all the differences this human civilization has erected. It is a miracle that evokes the feel of flying butterflies in the stomach, wakes oneself in the middle of the night and makes oneself roam around as a headless human"

I call this eternal LOVE.

From foreign correspondance

from the previous article..
http://www.spotalks.com/2011/03/lost-in-translation.html

I begin to write where I left the pen on the observations of an alien who have now matured into an official foreign correspondent. He has transformed from reading books about the country of his residence to practicing the real culture. He begins to examine the meaning of culture. He starts to wonder whether the major practicing religion has any influence on it. What about the fabled education system of a country, does it impact the culture of a country? How does weather influence behaviours of its people? How is the mosaic of culture made of? He finds the intriguing answers to his questions through introspection of his experiences and readings. A learned person would probably define culture as representative thought of people based on their beliefs, values, attitudes and taste. This multitude of definitions makes our foreigner busy to experience cultural pandora box.  He reckons the best way to understand a culture is always starting to debate on any topic and relate to the experience in his country.

As the economist claims even the paintings of a country would reveal the prolific performance of its economy, I kept wandering around the archived museums of my adopted country to paint the economic timeline. My wallet got emptied time and again to traverse the vast landscape of beautiful snow clad mountains, breezed beaches and its tranquil countryside. I deduce the mild romanticism of its people that I am not quite used to from their smile, gestures, dress and sexuality. I begin to find solace in my solitude through sensual relationship. Consequently, I observe my adopted country through prism of my partner. I understand the new found colour and creed of my world around me, eventually embracing its profound delicacies. I listen to the melodramatic description of its history that swallows the distress of war and disease. My intellect then turns to its tradition of music, cinema, literature and other forms of arts to comprehend the compelling thoughts of its elite.

I read voraciously country’s vox populi on the political newspapers and magazines. I debate details of the politics with natives. I indulge myself in the mastery of its traditional sports and dance. I begin to ape the natives in dressing and body language. I even cook the cuisine that everybody in the country eats regularly. The things I once fancied as a foreigner begins to become custodian to the very own customer. As a customer to this foreign land, I have literally amused myself. I explored, enjoyed and occasionally rejoiced of leaving my homeland to report about some alien place. Nevertheless, my love affair with this foreign land is almost complete; I broke the very fabric of my sensual relationship. However, I am convinced that myriad varieties of people around the world are ultimately united by this magical touch of humanity that boils down to simple show of sympathy and sincerity in any relationship. I, as a foreigner in this feigned part of the planet finally have to leave this beautiful paradise.

Love is Life

Hello readers,

Happy Valentine day. Love is life. Life with its all shortcoming is fulfilled by one drop of love. Love transcends all the worldly obstacles created by materialistic world. It transcends race, religion and status. Love is an innocent feeling that comes to a human like gravity on the earth. Hopefully, everyone's life should be showered with love.

Love

It is been a long time, I have written something from my heart so I decided to pen down now.

The love, what I am talking about is not the romantic or sensual love between couples but it is something different which people like to do. They love doing that more than they do their wife (pun intended). Let us first look at some of the bad things which society has labeled it but some people love doing it. Drugs, alcohol, watching pornography are some of the lovely things people crave to do. Next art, writing, storytelling, inventing new technology, coding software and so on is in the list of things people love to do.

Throughout our evolution, God has given some gifts to all the people he has created but the difficulty actually lies in the person’s part to identify that gift. Education might be the best possible way to show case our area of love but because of the academic rigor in the schools we often neglect our interest areas and follow our peers. Not all the people are gifted academically only some are but our society compels us to be educated in the highest orders. The things we really love to do during our childhood may vanish in books of 10th and 12th board exams. Just because hordes of people from your college prepare for CAT you may really give up your cat feeding and loving habit.

Ultimately we end up doing something we never love to do in life. Our lives get boring but we never reveal it because some people may directly depend on you eventually. But some people are really lucky to identify that love in their early life and pursue it till the end of their life. They are the ones who tend to be the most successful in life or they are the ones who actually had an enticing life. There are lots of successful people I can quote but I don’t want to cite them. I don’t know the solution to this burning problem but I certainly think that parents play a vital role in identifying the best things in their children. If they continue to encourage their child to pursue his /her love then the child will definitely have enticing life but that is not the case in reality. I just hope that it changes soon.

Taj Mahal- Monument of Love?

Truth is stranger than fiction. One of the most strangest truth in the history is concerning Taj Mahal. In this article , I want people to view Taj Mahal not as a mounement of love. I think Taj Mahal is not that beautiful. There are so many beautiful monuments in this world. After this article, please view Taj Mahal as a symbol of Shahjahan's cruel fate.In the Mogul dynasty, good kings were rare. They were opposite contrary to the dharmic kings of the native India. And fitting to their tradition, Shahjahan was a cruel king. He had improper relationship with his own daughter. His son imprisoned him in his later years, over the sucession issue.
Alot of people regard Taj Mahal as a symbol of love. It is one of the 7 wonder of the world elected by so much people in the world.A King built for the wife. Both are buried there. Everyone knows the story. King Shahjahan met this queen Mumtaz, fell in love with her. Married her, had so much children. In the 14th childbirth, she died. King could not forget her and built a cemetry that is Taj Mahal.
I don't find the story romantic in the first place. If Shahjahan really loved the Mumtaz, he would had just died with her in the longing for her.In this world, there are couples who die within 1 year, if one spouse died. That is true love. It took so many years for the monument to build, and Shahjahan actually lived after so many years after her death.
So, i dont really understand why this monument is so hyped about? If it is about the beauty of the structure, I am sure there are so much beautiful structures in India that is more beautiful like Mysore Maharaja palace.

When is love the sweetest

This is inspired by a newspaper article (TOI, Bangalore) regarding the same topic.

When is love the sweetest? Is it during the teen years, just-before-marriage-adulthood, after marriage or during old age. If you do not believe in love, better stop reading now and go see a doctor :p The rest of you normal people, dig in !!!

Teen years: This is the time when "crushes" develop at the rate of 2 a week. It is all blind rage and love with constant calls and texting complete with dialogues such as "no, I love you more" and "you cut the call first". Countless pointless research studies have pointed out that it is all harmones at play. But then, who cares. So long as you have a great guy/girl by your side, time just flies by and everything seems magical.

Before marriage: By now, there have been a few heart-breaks and so you are more wary. Plus there is all the maturity-baggage. Of course there are still a few who refuse to grow up and fall in love at sight. For most, it is the calculated "yes, I think he/she will make for a good pair" feeling of love. In any case, the thrill comes slightly close to the above mentioned category and makes for many enjoyable moments.

After marriage: There are 2 distinct categories here. One - "wow, my spouse is great. I m in love with him/her". This is the genuinely liking my spouse people. They mostly do well in marriage and manage a romantic side to it. Then there is the "oh well, I m already married to him/her. Let me make it better for everyone and just love the person for who he/she is". These people do ok in marriage and respond with "yea life s as usual" when you ask "how s your married life". Not that it is bad or anything, it is just the way it is.

Old age: By this time, you re finally done with the fighting and just decide that its time to put it all past you and love the person. Or it could be the "my wife s been my best friend for 40 years" grandpa. I love seeing such couples. They give me hope. At 70 or 80, you re glad you have someone to listen to when you gripe about your dentals and hearing. Then you can return the favor and everyone else at home is happy with the arrangement.

That brings me to the end of this post which I thoroughly enjoyed writing. Readers, if not for the forthcoming municipal/assembly/national elections, please do pitch in with your votes for this. Love and be loved.
